Raffle Prize - Mimbres Region Arts Council Print Portfolio of (25) Limited Edition Prints

The Print Project, a benefit for the Arts Council, has been created at 5-year intervals bringing together a collection of prints from exceptional area artists.  The prints range in form from monotypes to etchings, linocuts and woodcuts to digital images. The limited edition prints are produced by each artist and one of each is gathered into a handsome handmade portfolio which sells for $500.  These are truly collectors’ items.

The project is the brainchild of local artist and business owner, Diana Ingalls Leyba, of L & I Arts. The first project, launched in 1999, was a huge success with funds generated for MRAC Youth Programs.  The portfolio includes a wide variety of artist expressions, styles and methods and is a way for local art enthusiasts to collect a piece from many of their favorite Silver City artists all at once, and at the same time benefit the Mimbres Region Arts Council.

Raffle Prize - Power & Light - Drifter, Gunslinger, Outlaw - set of 3 letterpress prints, 19x12" each

Power and Light Press is a ship shape print shop that's built to handle all of life's messy emotions. Ever since we flipped the switch on in 2009, our cards and posters have been designed, printed and packaged in-house: meaning each and every piece has come straight from our own blood, sweat, and tears (metaphorically...for the most part). Our company is run by boss-lady Kyle Durrie and fueled by a fleet of all-female letterpress operators with clean hands and filthy mouths: a bunch of real class acts who like making real-ass things. Because at Power and Light Press, we aren't afraid to get a little dirty now and then.
