2016 Signal Peak Challenge

Welcome to the twenty fifth edition of the Signal Peak Challenge, permitted by USA Cycling and by the Gila National Forest.  Three years after the Signal Fire, it is our pleasure to announce that all roads and trails in the Signal Peak area are now open, clean and ready to ride...LET'S RACE!

Join us this coming Labor Day Weekend from September 3-5th for a long weekend of bike riding, racing and camping in the Gila National Forest.  The event will start with a fun ride on Saturday September 3rd.  The purpose of this ride will be to preview the race course, making sure trail conditions are safe and race course flagging is adequate and visible.  We'll enjoy the traditional pit roasted BBQ on the night of the 3rd.  Camping will be available at the start finish area and on Signal Peak Road.

The race will take place on the morning of Sunday September 4th at 9am.  Upon completion of the race, food and soft drinks will be available for racers, race staff and volunteers.  We may sneak out for a night ride that evening if people are interested, so bring lights.
