Make a Styrofoam Printing from a Piece of Styrofoam, a Pencil, and Tempera Paint. Come to the Silver City Museum, 312 West Broadway, on Saturday, September 3, 2016, from 10:30 am to Noon.
These will be made with pieces of Styrofoam, a pencil, and tempera paint. The kids will draw a design in the Styrofoam (to create a printing plate) with a pencil and then pick a color of paint and roll it over their etching. Then they will imprint a piece of paper with their drawing. When dry, they can frame it and hang it in their rooms.
The best part is when they take the printing plates off the paper and see what they have created.
Meet us at the Silver City Museum, 312 W. Broadway on Saturday, September 3, from 10:30 to noon. See you here!
