Hi! I’m Dana Falconberry, the creator of Falconberry Prints. I’m a printmaker, musician, and chainstitcher living in Lockhart and Alpine Texas, and sometimes in Michigan. I learned how to do linocut printmaking from a friend of mine in her tiny Austin apartment when I needed a way to make multiple album covers at once. I fell in love with the process and started printing as a hobby, selling prints at my music shows and using images for album art. I now work as an embroiderer for the Austin-based Chainstitching company, Fort Lonesome, and carve blocks as often as I can! I love the ancient and meditative nature of carving linocuts, and I hope to convey a connectivity to the natural world through my prints.
