Thinking With Ink

$150.00

Instructor: Rory Sparks

Date: Friday, October 10, 2025
Time: 10am - 4pm

Workshop Description:
Ink is more than just color! In this class, we’ll think about ink conceptually as a vibrant material in your print work. We’ll explore a spectrum of ink treatments from supersparkles and pearlescents to rich matte and natural materials. We’ll treat ink like an adhesive to add luster powders, botanical and mineral pigments, flocking, glow in the dark pigments, graphite, and other experimental treatments that may tie into your work, like spices for scent. Come with a lust for experimentation and an open heart to start thinking with ink in your print practice.
