Silver City, New Mexico is a high desert town of about 10,000 residents, situated at the edge of the Gila National Forest. Silver City is located about 2 hours from Las Cruces, 2.5 hours from El Paso, 3 hours from Tucson, 4 hours from Albuquerque, and 5 from Santa Fe and Phoenix. The closest major airports are El Paso and Tucson. Our regional airport (Silver City/Grant County) connects to ABQ and PHX.

We recommend arriving on Friday to catch the exhibitions and opening night festivities, then stick around for the Saturday Printers’ Market, Steamroller printing, and more.

The historic MURRAY HOTEL is right downtown, within walking distance to all Fiesta events.
We have reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate for Print Fiesta attendees! Single Queen rooms are $109/night and Double Queen rooms are $119/night. This special rate will be good for the nights of Friday 10/9, Saturday 10/10, and Sunday 10/11, 2026.
To reserve a discounted room at the Murray Hotel, you must call the hotel directly and mention SW Print Fiesta before September 18, 2026!

LULU is a newly remodeled motel, a few miles out of town. Cute and affordable, though you will need a car to get downtown to Fiesta events.
We have reserved single King rooms for $70/night and double Queen rooms for $80/night. This special rate is good for the nights of Friday 10/9, Saturday 10/10, and Sunday 10/11, 2026.
To reserve a discounted room at Lulu, you must call the hotel manager, Jaime, directly at 575-574-7541 and mention the SW Print Fiesta before September 15, 2026.

Historic and quirky, the Palace Hotel has been a Silver City staple since 1882. We’ve heard mixed reviews over the past few years, but the location, price, and history can’t be beat.
