This FREE drop-in workshop is open to students of all ages. Join us Friday from 2-4pm and again Saturday from 11am-3pm to see the Riso machines in action and learn all about this fun process! Riso machines are part screen printer, part photocopier - imagine a machine that can spit out copies as fast as an office laser printer, but with solid colors and more artistic personality. We will have different projects going on both days, so be sure to stop by on Friday and Saturday to see what’s happening!
Instructor Bio:
Lauren Harms is co-founder and chief creative person at Next Chapter Studio. NCS is a design and print shop in Albuquerque specializing in Risograph printing – creating greeting cards, stationery and art prints. In addition to manufacturing stationery, the studio hosts workshops and a small retail shop. Lauren started printing in 2017 at the SVA Risolab, and has a background in book publishing.
